Description

Similar to Kepler 16b this planet orbits two stars, however unlike Kepler 16b this planet falls in the habitable zone. The planet is twice the size of Earth with 99.9% of its surface covered in water around a rocky core. Similar to Earth this planet is orbited by only one rocky moon similar in size to Ganymede. The light blue spot seen on the planets surface is actually a massive bloom of a microscopic plant similar to Earths phytoplankton. Do to the absence of large mammals or amphibians on this planet, and a relatively alkaline water, these microscopic plants can flourish in large numbers.

Would this be in a binary solar system or is the smaller bright thing merely a small moon reflecting light?
