Sunrise by manwesulemo Sunrise by manwesulemo
This was inspired by a scene from the TV show "How the Universe Works" on the Discovery channel. It is now one of my favorite shows, not just because of the awesome graphics but like Phil Plait from Bad Astronomy said "The writing is engaging, and Mike Rowe is a terrific narrator". Made in Cinema 4d with touch ups in Photoshop.

Sunrise by ~manwesulemo is a remarkable space scene with fine details. Enjoy and check the rest of the artist's gallery. ( Suggested by QAuZ and Featured by KeremGo )

Puts me in mind of Pink Floyd. "I'll see you on the dark side of the moon".

wow, this is such an impressing work  most of all I like the tiny lights on the big planet. this looks so realistic, although I don't know how this scene should look like in reality ;)

Nice! My only problem is it looks like the moon's facing the wrong way. The maria (dark blotches) should be on the other side, facing Earth. =)

This scene is amazing, love the details of the lighting and everything.:)

Also, what is this. Mike Rowe narrates How the Universe Works? Now I want to go watch that show. I always loved watching the shows he hosted.
